Rams Lose Two Conference Games in Rough Start
The Rams fell to Rockford 12 to 2 as seven early runs, two misplayed fly balls, and six errors doomed their defense. Rockford pitcher Bob Tumilison earned the win while Greene and Wahlgren collected the Rams’ two base hits. North Central then defeated the Rams 12 to 4, with a 5‑0 Rams lead erased by a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th inning barrage. Three Greene hurlers allowed nine North Central hits. Mike Constien quieted the Rams late.
