Married in Greene on Sunday June 30 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pam Dralle and Mark Ott announce their home near Greene. The couple, son and daughter of James Dralle and Harry Ott, will reside at 510 Grand in Ames after September 1 and pursue studies at the State University of Iowa.
Butler County 4 H demonstrations and girls dress revue are set for Allison at the R E C basement. Senior members 14 and older demo July 15 1 5 p m. intermediate and junior groups July 16 9 a m to 5 p m and 7 p m. dress revue July 17 at the Extension office. Top entries advance to Iowa State Fair and Waterloo Dairy Cattle Congress. a senior advances to the state dress revue.
The Friendly Circle Club announces a family picnic on Sunday July 14 at Perrin Park with a bring beverage and picnic dinner request. The American Legion and Auxiliary plan a meeting on Wednesday July 17 at 8:00 PM at the Veteran's Club to install officers hosted by Mesdames Walter Kyle Arvid Lindell and Herbert Barnett.
Mr and Mrs George Whitson of Pompano Beach Florida will stay here until week end visiting Mrs Pearl Neumann and other friends and relatives. They plan to visit Algona and Des Moines before returning home. Mrs Cecil Starkweather left today for Ottumwa then Cedar Rapids for her father surgery and will return to Greene Sunday. Sam Crooks was feted at a surprise birthday party at his home with guests including Mr and Mrs Elmer Litterer Mr and Mrs Harold Meyer and Mr and Mrs Allan Jacobson. Litterer baked and decorated the cake.
Miss Lila May Santee daughter of Mr and Mrs Herbert G Santee of Greene and Frederick W Chisholm son of Mr and Mrs Walter G Chisholm of Holbrook Massachusetts were married Saturday June 8 at 2 pm in the First Baptist Church Boston Rev Charles W Griffin officiated Richard Frey presided at the organ with Mrs Elizabeth Barton singing Entreat Me Not To Leave Thee and The Lords Prayers The bride wore satin and chantilly lace gown with empire cage bodice pearls and long lace sleeves her veil of rayon petals carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses carnations and stephanotis The reception followed at the groom s home in Holbrook and colors were yellow and white
