Roberts fired as Parsons College president in Chicago
Parsons College at Fairfield dismissed president Millard Roberts by its trustees executive committee in a special Chicago meeting. The school faces accreditation trouble as North Central Association revoked its accreditation and a court action seeks to halt that revocation. House and Senate work on a conference report for a vocational education bill, funding area schools at 4.5 million, retaining a three quarter mill tax with non-increase pledge, and salary review provisions. The two chambers must approve the compromise.
