Miss June Lavon Wieland and Gary Leon Smith were united in marriage on Saturday June 24 at the First Reformed Church Bristow. Rev Murry E Steinkamp officiated the double ring ceremony with white gladiolus and orchid baby mums in the altar decor. The bride wore a floor length nylon sheer gown with sequin lace applique and a silk illusion veil. Attendants included maid of honor Sharon Weiland and cousins Jeri lyn Weiland Vicki Barnett. Thirty seven to attend Madrid 4-H camp

120 Attend 4-H Demonstration at Butler County Fairgrounds
A crowd of 120 4-H youth, parents, and leaders gathered at Allison's Butler County Fairgrounds Friday evening for a fitting and showing demonstration covering beef dairy sheep and swine. A general session reviewed fair entries and new county fair rules, highlighting the brucellosis test requirement for breeding swine within 60 days of the fair.
