Marble Rock Students Shine At Music Festival Standouts Named
Thirty two Marble Rock students competed in the twelfth annual Invitational Grade School Music Festival at Mason City Public Library auditorium. Excellent scores were earned by Doris Houser Debbie Bruglem an Vicki Cazanas Beth Ayers Donald Ferrier Amber Adams Julie Jeffrey Debby Hauge Steven Howell Joe Zweck and Joseph Trygstad. Superior ratings went to Donna Reed Debra Krull Jill Handley Donna Carney James Viers Janet Shook Craig Marsh Paula Enabait Brian Bushbaum Sally Ackley James Fullerton Dean Maupin Jill Parcher Jeanette Litterer Glennys Biggs Judy Trygstad Mary Stone Sherry Gregory and Diane Carney. A drum duet earned Mary Jo Ott and Terry Lines superior and a drum quintet earned Bill Heeren Joe Trygstad Shirley King Judene Tweed and Kathy Frascht superior.

Forget-a-Go Travel Club Hosts February Meeting
Mr. and Mrs. Willard Nielsen hosted the Forget-a-Go travel club in Allison with coupleattendees including Mr. and Mrs. George North and others from Desley Shell Rock and Clarksville. The meeting set the summer camping schedule. The January gathering occurred at the Nielsen home in Marble Rock.
