First Floor Plan For Community School Outlined
Preliminary plans outline changes for the first floor of the Community School addition. Vocal and instrumental spaces move to the new section with additional toilets above the ground floor facilities. Music access will be via ground floor and a first floor hall, which shortens through the Biology lab space and preserves a 32 by 38 foot Biology room. The move frees larger Art and Vocal rooms for classrooms and better handles crowded classes. Further organization changes will occur as working drawings proceed, with many architect suggestions noted for consideration. Basements plans next week will address dressing room shortages, and readers are advised to save these plans for an overall view.
