Three Buildings Burned at Ralph MacDonald Farm
Neighbors spotted a fire at the Ralph MacDonald farm in Powersville at 4 15 a m on Thursday February 5th destroying a 50 by 60 pole type barn a small double corn crib and a small hog house. Two tractors a car and 900 bales of hay in the barn plus two wagons a manure spreader and feed and corn in the corn crib were also lost. Greene Fire Department extinguished the blaze.

The Greene Post Office will close all day on Washingtons Birthday February 22. There will be no rural carrier or counter service that day.
