Obituary notes Ethel M. Poisal 44 of Clarksville died Friday night at Allison Manor Nursing Home after transfer from Waverly hospital. Born July 15 1878 to George and Harriett Kocher in Clarksville she married Robert C Poisal in 1905. Survived by daughter Miriam Shaw and grandsons Darrell and Robert Shaw. Funeral Monday at Schwartz Funeral Home with Rebekah rites at Lynwood Cemetery. Burial followed.
Mrs. Paul C. Matthias remains a patient in Iowa City hospital after surgery. Mathias Jensen, injured Jan 22 in a car crash, has been dismissed from Allen Memorial Hospital to recover at home with jaws wired and a four month cast. Ayelt Krull left Allen Memorial Hospital after surgery. Beaney Coon admitted to CharI es City hospital for heart and high blood pressure treatment.
In Bailar County Iowa the estate of Martha M Borchard is probated with Elmer H Miller appointed executor. Creditors must file claims within six months from the second publication. actions to contest must be brought within one year from the first publication. Dated January 28 1973.
Mr and Mrs Wayne Weinberg attended funeral services for Ed Shearen at St Matthew's Catholic Church in St Paul Minnesota on Tuesday. They returned home on Wednesday.

A reception in the Immanuel United Church of Christ parlor Saturday honored Mr and Mrs Mike Kratchmer soon after their marriage. Guests from Grundy Center Cedar Falls Charles City Waverly Tripoli Shell Rock Plainfield Clarksville and Pine City Minn attended the event. The couple plan to live in Pine City Minn with details about the wedding and engagements noted for Cindi Kielman Hoodjer and Roxanne Shaffer Easley.
Baptismal services were held in San at Immanuel United Church of Christ for Eric Allen Litterer infant son of Mr and Mrs Richard Litterer. Mrs George Mayer visited relatives in Sun Prairie and Jackson Michigan then assisted in moving to Coldwater Michigan before returning home.
