World Day of Prayer service set for March 2
Four local churches cooperate for World Day of Prayer on Friday March 2 at St Marys Catholic Church Roseville at 10 a.m. Theme Alert in Our Time. Church representatives planned the program and lunch was served by Mrs Rudolph Schwartz and Mrs Galen Gates. Methodist Women Met Thursday at Marble Rock Church
The Marble Rock United Methodist Women held a February general meeting in the church fellowship hall. Officers signed membership books, program titled Dimensions of Reality led by Mrs. Robert Carney with assistance from Mrs. Weldon Salt, a special membership pin presented to Mrs. Galen Gates, $25 sent to Missions in her honor, date books distributed, and plans discussed for upcoming meetings on Feb. 22 and March 8 plus World Day of Prayer on March 2 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Roseville with 4 churches cooperating.
