The Jolly Exglet 500 Club met Wednesday with dessert luncheon by Mrs. Lows Staudt. High prize went to Mrs. Raymond Gerhard and low to Mrs. Leander Merfeld. Mrs Bird Keith traveled to Nashua and attended a gathering at the Clark Good home honoring her grandson Airman 2/c Ron Gates, now stationed at Tour Rosieres France. He is with the 7544th Field Maintenance Squadron as a Jet Aircraft Mechanic. Lion's Club Members Entertained Wives
Twenty two Marble Rock Lion's Club members and their wives dined at the Country House in Mason City on Ladies Night. Guests included Mr Myles M Sloniker of Algona and Art and Mrs Keith Noah of Charles City. Sloniker, District Governor for District 9E of Iowa Lions Clubs, spoke on Lionism after dinner, while Art and Mrs Noah presented slides and described a European camping trip from last summer.

Card party at the Gerhards yields prizes and lunch

The 13th Marble Rock picnic for California folks was held at Clifton's Cafeteria in Lakewood California on Sunday January 31 honoring Willard Bucklen’s 94th birthday.
