Speaks Out On Schools Reorganization Debate
An editorial by a Buena Vista County educator outlines opposition to a state reorganization plan. It argues the State Department of Public Instruction would erode local control, close many small high schools, and force consolidations without voter input, urging residents to contact their legislators for action. The piece cites potential loss of school quality and local autonomy, calling for investigations and citizen advocacy.
