Milk contamination linked to pesticide storage in dairy herds
Iowa State University entomologist Harold Gunderson told a conference at Ames that improper storage of aldrin near a dairy feed component likely caused unexplained milk contamination from 13 Towa dairy herds last fall. The finding attributes the pesticide mix up to storage error and replacement of the normal feed component.
