Mr and Mrs George Hamilton were honored at a family dinner on Friday August 13 at the home of their son Don Hamilton in Humboldt for their 50th wedding anniversary. Attending were their sons Paul Hamilton Des Moines and Robert Hamilton Iowa Falls with families. The couple wed August 13 1915 in McCook Nebraska later living in Buckeye Iowa Greene and now have sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mrs Hamilton teaches piano and organ and Mr Hamilton worked as a bookkeeper for Buchholz and Drakle before retirement.
