Merlyn Brocka 17 son of Mr and Mrs Melvin Brocka Greene was seriously hurt in a 6 45 am Wednesday collision near Oelwein. He drove a 1938 Ford with passengers when it struck head on a West Union car driven by Harry Walton. Brocka suffered two hand injuries a broken left hip and internal injuries. He was taken to Oelwein Hospital and Saturday transferred to the University of Iowa City. Patrol cited improper passing.
