Duck Hunting Prospects Look Good
Bob Barratt and Harry Harrison of the State Conservation Commission report favorable fall duck hunting prospects. Air surveys in the Dakotas, Minnesota, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan show robust waterfowl habitats, with breeding birds rebounding after last year’s stricter regulations. Production and population indicators suggest favorable conditions, though not matching the 1950s peak.
