Infant Burned in Windsor Farmhouse Fire
Tuesday morning the infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Merritt Billings on a Windsor area farm was badly burned and died Wednesday morning. The three year old sister and the mother were in another room briefly when the fire started. The origin of the blaze could not be determined.

Damage by Fire Threatens Williams Building on Ninth
A fire in the Williams building on Ninth street was discovered by Nelson Demorest on Tuesday morning prompting quick fire department response. Faulty insulation of electric wires ignited wood between ceiling layers, damaging stock in Demorest and Lofgren stores from smoke and water exposure.
