Nelson Reynolds reports the lowest temperature Thursday night at 29 above. Colorado forecast shows rain or snow in the west portion, cloudy in the east, with tonight and Saturday turning colder.
Prof W G Chambers delivered a lecture to Baptist Sunday school teachers at Rev D D Forward home. The talk traced senses from eye to skin, noting counts of sensations and the role of movement in perception. Lively remarks and cheers followed his chalkboard illustration by Grant Chambers.
The annual meeting of The Seven Lakes Reservoir Company stockholders will be at the Unitarian church parlors in Greeley Colorado on Friday February 12 1909 at 2 p.m. to elect a board of directors for the ensuing year levy an assessment and address other business as may arise. The 1870 Tribune recounts Greeley’s early liquor clashes with a neighboring town seller leasing a building on Colony land. A committee urged departure, a fire destroyed the shanty, and prosecutions followed as residents feared unfair trials. The piece lists early ads and merchants as the town organized commerce and regulation.

Wyatt traveled to Denver for the stock show and returned.
