Saw Mill Burned at Fife Lake Renders 245 Men Jobless
At 10 30 last night the saw mill owned by Citizens Bank at Fife Lake burned. It employed about 245 men who were cutting lumber for Archie Gibbs of Traverse City, with roughly 750000 feet cut and about half finished. The fire department saved nearby buildings.
