Marriage news from Traverse City reports Arthur Le Wait formerly of the city wed Miss Lillian May Plunkett of Del Norte Colorado. The couple will reside at Tacoma Colorado after April first where Wait has been employed by the San Juan Water and Power company for three and a half years and recently promoted to superintendent of the works.
Miss Alice R. Marsh provisional secretary of the central territory of the YWCA spoke at Mrs. Ed gar Keith home on the association's work and new fields. She described challenges in small cities financing projects and gaining ground. Marsh promised to stay in touch and aid efforts as enthusiasm grows among local young women.
Charles Edgar DeLong born January 24 1855 in St Charles Illinois died yesterday at Burbank hospital. He came to Grand Traverse region 46 years ago with his parents and became a carpenter with his father Richard DeLong. Survived by widow two sons Guy and Richard and two daughters Maude and Grace all residing in Traverse City. Funeral at home 605 West Seventh Street Saturday at 2 pm with Rev W W McKee officiating. Also notes Fife Lake village elected officers with President Dent Blue Clerk Otto Bosse Treasurer Leroy L Maxam and several trustees and an assessor.

A daughter preceded her in death. The Disciples church funeral is Saturday at 2 pm led by Rev Demas Cochlin.
At Williamsburg town hall Michigan a caucus named Ticket No 1 slate with Merrill Will and Worden among nominees while Ticket No 2 listed Stites Hamilton and Garrettson as contenders. Delegates to the County Republican Convention were chosen and a straw vote for president showed Roosevelt leading with 40 votes and Taft 1, La Follette 6, Bryan 1. About 150 attended.
A road meeting for interested residents from regional counties will take place April 10 and 11. On Wednesday evening an illustrated lecture on Spa roads will be delivered by Secretary Gibson of the development bureau.
