Charles E Delong Dies In Traverse City At 90

Charles Edgar DeLong born January 24 1855 in St Charles Illinois died yesterday at Burbank hospital. He came to Grand Traverse region 46 years ago with his parents and became a carpenter with his father Richard DeLong. Survived by widow two sons Guy and Richard and two daughters Maude and Grace all residing in Traverse City. Funeral at home 605 West Seventh Street Saturday at 2 pm with Rev W W McKee officiating. At Williamsburg town hall Michigan a caucus named Ticket No 1 slate with Merrill Will and Worden among nominees while Ticket No 2 listed Stites Hamilton and Garrettson as contenders.
