City Council Passes Scavenger Office and Public Works Actions
The city council met and approved ordinances including creating a city scavenger office and shifting filth out of the city. They ordered a dumping ground sought, dangerous awnings pulled down, a calaboose leased, and 348A convicts assigned to streets and works. Adjourned to March 28 at 2 PM.
