Presbyterian Women Meet for September Bible Study and Report
The Presbyterian Women of the Church met at 3 p m Sunday at the home of Mrs Fredalene Clark for the September general business meeting and Bible study. Mrs D W Read, president, gave the treasurer s report and opened with prayer led by Mrs Glenn Walton. New study books were distributed and Read will introduce the October session. The 1973 74 study Set Free to Be Persons by Dr James R Bullock was described, noting his pastorships and education. A hospital Korea letter thanked the group for bandages and Dr Kraemer will speak in Longview Oct 18. The Servant s Joy from Philippians 3 preceded prayers and the hostess served cake and beverages to the listed ladies.
