Weldon PTA to Hold Final Meeting May 7
Weldon School PTA schedules its last meeting Tuesday evening May 7 with Roy Johnson, superintendent of Gladewater Schools, addressing plans for the 1969 70 school year. The group with a long tradition has supported many community projects and urges punctual attendance. In East London a cricket match between Salem and Sidbury was halted by heavy rain then resumed after players used gasoline to start a fire on the infield before continuing play.
