Busy Belles Plan Centennial Events At Salad Luncheon
The Busy Belles met in the Chamber of Commerce banquet room for a salad luncheon. Prizes were awarded to Mrs Thelma Tarpley and Mrs Kay Moyers for her work as Centennial Belle chair. Attendees discussed Ladies Day on August 2 and a pageant August 1 to 4, with members volunteering to bake for events and tickets being sold for the Centennial queen contest.
