Salavador Villalpando visits and film plans in Jefferson
A 23 year old Salvador Villalpando, a Mexican student at East Texas Baptist College, spent Independence Day with the Graves family in Marshall and will study at Southwest State College in San Marcos this fall. Producer Martin Jerow plans two Jefferson films using historic buildings and Caddo Lake as settings. The piece also profiles the Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America, noting their 5000 members and focus on petroleum education and public outreach.
