Noise testing chamber aids dirt truck emissions study
Clark Equipment Co. Industrial Truck Division has built an echo free chamber at its Michigan plant to test noise emission levels of dirt trucks. The facility is among the first of its kind for design and manufacture of material handling equipment. Officials say lower noise reduces fatigue and improves productivity. Cones absorb sound and a silenced ventilation system refreshes air each minute during operation.
