Dorcas Bible Club installs officers for coming year
The Dorcas Bible Study Club met April 3 for an annual luncheon at Mrs. H. H. Krumm's home. Mrs. C. E. Hancock presided, and Mrs. M. E. McFerren spoke on officer duties as they were installed. Officers include E. D. Sutton president and Sutton to co host April 17. The group will study Malachi and Matthew. Members listed include Lola Morgan, Perry Brown, O. G. Jones, D. W. Read, and others. Discovery Club Visits Homemaking Dept And Camp Fire Meeting
Gladewater Discovery Club members toured the high school homemaking department where Mrs Pyres and Mrs Smith spoke about culinary careers and classes. After refreshments by homemaking girls, the group met at the Camp Fire Center with President Patty Wallace presiding and discussed an arts show, a San Antonio trip, a council five report, and a rummage sale on April 4 5 and 6 to fund their excursion.
