Council Sets Vehicle Licenses for Hack Traffic to Fair Grounds
The Wauseon council approved a licensing system for hack drivers operating between town and Fulton County Fair grounds starting Tuesday September 28. A marshal will designate routes and waiting areas with extra help, and only licensed drivers may operate during the fair. Sidewalks and crosswalks are being installed, and a usual claim ordinance was passed before adjournment.

Monument Decision on Fulton County Soldiers Memorial Site Purchase
The Executive Committee of the Fulton County Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Association met at Fayette on September 1 to approve a site choice for a county monument and authorize purchase of a 27% foot White Metal Bronze Company replica from Bridgeport Connecticut.
