Clerk of Courts Davis Johnson to begin Fulton county post
The Fulton county Clerk of Courts office will see Davis B. Johnson assume duties on Monday August 2nd, succeeding retiring Mr. and Mrs. J C King who have served two terms over four years. Johnson, born in Anney and educated at Fayette N Lima College and Chattaoga Law, is expected to bring efficiency to the busy office.

The first Junior Red Club meeting at the Chautauqua will be Saturday August 7 at 2 30 p m in the High School. Mrs Grace Cowan Tatum will outline plans for children work describe new games tell stories and explain the Junior club idea. Officers will be elected and a pennant prize mentioned. Long Rest Frank Denman of San Antonio Laid to Rest
The body of Frank Denman of San Antonio was brought to Wauseon and buried in Wauseon cemetery after a brief service conducted by Rev W T Williams. Denman, born in Wauseon, was a long time railroad man with Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railway, died of tuberculosis in San Antonio. He is survived by his father Ed Denman, a sister in Idaho, and a son Walter Denman of Kendallville Indiana. E Y Shannon, secretary of Lodge No A Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, transported the body and visited the north briefly.
