Engineers at McPherson Sailing Products in Ithaca New York designed tested and developed a self rescuing flotation system for Rhodes Bantam hulls. The system combines bottom hull flotation with full length seat tanks to enhance stability and allow rapid righting after capsizes. Tests show a cockpit that balances with two 200 lb sailors on the gunwales and a quick return to sailing after a knock down.
