Village Board Hears June Reports In Trumansburg
The June village board meeting presided by Trustee Vann heard clerical and public works reports. Water Commissioner Northrup sought bids for the Frontenac beach well after engineer approval. Police Commissioner Coleman urged four proposed procedures for the force. Fire Chief Moore asked to block Union Street for a six to seven p m band concert and a parade plan was advised. Local Contractor Recieves Bid From Prattsburg
TRUMANSBURG The William Auble Construction Co. of this village has been notified of receiving the bid for construction of a water distribution system for the Village of Prattsburg. The work involves laying more than 44 000 linear feet of eight inch pipe and building a new one story treatment plant at the present water supply system. Financing includes a 100 000 grant from the Federal Home Administration and a 117 000 bond issue bought by the Farmers Home Administration Department of Agriculture. The bond carries four percent interest and runs for 40 years.

An unscheduled blood mobile visit at the Rochester Regional Blood Center’s nine county area reached the municipal building on Friday.
