The sixty voice Charles O. Dickerson High School Concert Choir under Dale W. Baker will perform on Saturday June 10 at 8 15 p m in the new Memorial Auditorium. The program blends concert religious and Broadway selections with Les Jeunes Filles and a Vivaldi Gloria In Excelsis. An outdoor fabrics note appears in the text.
The Tru mansburg PTA offers a $100 vocational scholarship for 1967. Eligibility includes enrollment in a vocational technical or business program under four years, full time status, a Regents or state education board registered school, demonstrated financial need, not already a scholarship recipient, and both genders may apply. Apply to Dr Burns Guidance Office by June 15.
The Mecklenburg Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary offers swimming lessons for school age children with qualified instructors. Lessons run from 1 to 3 p.m. during the weeks of July 10 and July 17. registration ends July 4 and inquiries are directed to 387-6265.
