Spike Zatopek of the State Highway Department announced that original operator commercial operator and chauffeur licenses are tested each Monday at the Courthouse from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Renewal blanks are available at the Sheriff's office. Operators licenses are valid four years. commercial and chauffeur licenses are valid one year. Applicants for original licenses must be accompanied by a licensed driver and it is unlawful to drive to or from the examination without a license or after failing the test.
