The Common Council of Dunkirk will receive sealed proposals at the next regular meeting on Tuesday June 3 1885 for grading East Lake street from the bridge to Ghaney s corner. Work directed by the street commissioner with ditches eighteen feet from both lines and two feet below the grade. Grade at the bridge three feet below planking with Ghaney s six inches higher than center. Ditch two feet wide bottom banks sloping to ford center. Work to start within one week after acceptance and be finished in twenty days. Council may reject any bids.
