A habeas corpus hearing for William J. Gallagher, indicted for forgery in Philadelphia and sought here, was postponed with Gallagher released on bail of 50 pounds. The motion to quash the indictments and other defendants in the Eighteenth Ward case were noted. court adjourned for further advice.
December 26 reports from New Orleans and San Antonio describe bad weather dampening holiday events.
