Two Boys Die In Auto Collision Near Draper
Two Chicago boys and a Pierre woman were injured in a head on crash on US Highway 16 seven miles east of Draper. Harvey A Nordeen Jr 16 and Fred Yonker 10 died shortly after the collision. Mrs Dela Urquhart of Pierre suffered broken leg and cuts. Nordeen Sr 43 and Mrs Nordeen 39 were treated for injuries. none in critical condition.

Lead Woman Dies Of Injuries When Car Stalls On Hill
Myrtle Face 42 of Lead died at Deadwood hospital from a spine fracture after a car stalled on an incline between Deadwood and Pluma early Sunday. Axel Streamer of Lead was a passenger. he jumped to push the car and fell, causing it to strike a guard rail. Surviving are two daughters and a son.
