Plan to Enlarge State High Court Library Shelving
PIURRE Aug 24 Ground was broken for enlarging the state supreme court library in the capitol building. A $2500 appropriation will convert the balcony around the stacks into floor space with six stacks extended above the second floor, adding roughly 200 feet of shelving annually as 1,200 volumes were added last year. Doane Robinson, librarian, said the library now holds over 24,000 volumes and more extensions will follow as needed from the library maintenance fund.

STATE PARK Aug. 24. Gutzon Borglum is reported to have bought the Ed Rhoads ranch along Grace Coolidge creek. The property borders two miles of fine trout fishing on the creek. The ranch may host a home for the sculptor near Rushmore Mountain while he continues the memorial carving.
Mound City Girls Prepare for State Fair Demonstration
