A pamphlet titled Interesting Facts About Huron will be used in Huron public schools with fourth graders studying the data under an arrangement with the Chamber of Commerce. Ten thousand copies will be distributed to students and local businesses to boost tourism and town pride for summer itineraries.

Coal chute fire in Bristol damages railroad property
The Chicago Milwaukee St Paul and Pacific railroad coal chute in Bristol burned to the ground last night, causing over 20000 dollars in damage and 40 tons of coal lost. Traffic will be rerouted via sidings until debris is cleared.
