Duckwater Buys Eureka Supplies For Winter

Duckwater stores and nearby ranchers prepare for winter by stocking up. Eureka Cash Store took orders requiring three trips of an eight horse team to deliver. John Strode began hauling goods from Duckwater and will continue until complete. The firm plans 400 sacks of flour for Duckwater families and grain shipments from Duckwater to Eureka. Roanton, Wheatton, and Tognoni fortunes propel a two way tonnage system reducing hauling costs. After bountiful summer harvests, Eureka expects most grain from the Duckwater area this fall.
