Death of W B Graham Pioneer Miner Passes at Oakl and Lake Merritt
William B. Graham died March 4 at Lake Merritt hospital Oakland California after a long illness. A pioneer of White Pine County Nevada he helped shape the mining industry that made Nevada a leading mineral state. Born August 6 1854 in Pennsylvania he moved west via Kansas Texas Utah before settling in Cherry Creek Nevada and later Ely Nevada in 1883. He leaves Mrs Graham and three daughters.
