Regime favoritism alleged in Oregon land grant case
The Albany Democrat accuses Col Bob Mitchell and faces of representing Aschul land interests tied to a 900,000 acre old wagon road grant from Lore to the Snake River near Ontario Oregon. It says Hermann supporters act from self interest and that the land grab ties extend to nonpayment of taxes and delayed patents. The piece notes President's role in a previous resignation and criticizes campaign tactics.
