Tree Fell On Him Albany Man Injured
Ben L. Holmes of Benton county near Albany was injured when a hollow ash tree two feet in diameter fell during bee tree cutting on the Watson farm. The split trunk pinned him to the ground causing a mashed left lung and multiple internal injuries. His condition is described as probably fatal.

Prison Term For Oregon Larceny Plea
George Vernon Schaffer pleaded guilty to larceny before Judge Hamilton in the circuit court.
