University Installs New Campus Water System
The university prepares to install a campus wide water system to improve fire protection and irrigation. Four inch mains will feed buildings via two and one half inch laterals, reaching the president's house in Collier tract. Fred Barnett Dies of Consumption in Janetson City
Fred Barnett second son of Mr and Mrs M L Barnett died Sunday at his father’s home west of Janetson City Oregon from consumption. His parents have lost two grown sons to the same disease. He formerly served as assistant postmaster at Monroe and later worked in a bank at Athena. The remains were interred at Bell Fountain cemetery yesterday.
