Horse show closes with rawhide triumphs and top stock
Queen owned by Taylor took first money followed by Willis and Joe Munz in a busy show. Capt Hardy performed more exhibition shooting. The relay went to Joe Moore on Kennaday stock with Jack O'Brien second. Jack Tapers rode Steamboat to win broncho honors as Freeman Cook and Karl Sutton rode Twister and Blondy respectively. Winnermucker, owned by Kindt Sheep, proved the worst horse while Tapers, winner, is also a Kindt employee. Lou Moore of Colorado attempted bareback on Winnermucker but stayed a few jumps. A stock parade of cattle mules and horses drew praise, as Capt Davis bulls and other riders earned applause. Decker closed bareback on Steamboat. The stock was superb with outside buyers pleased and major cattle raisers shown.
