Brophy and Schweitzer Return to Open Store at Gudkin
Messrs Brophy and Schweitzer came back from Bismarck last Saturday. Brophy went to certify final proof on his Strasburg homestead and brought trees to plant on his Godkin lots. He ordered lumber for a store building at the Godkin station. The Gudkin district holds many settlers and will gain more. Brophy is a straightforward fair dealer, and Gudkin residents welcome his upcoming store.

Prairie Fire Threatens Settler Homes East of Town
