A six year old boy, Fohn Marina, was killed Monday evening in Cleveland when he ran onto a street car on Car A C E and W tracks while trying to meet a playmate. Lake Shore Trains Blocked by Weekend Flood Damage
Heavy rains caused immense damage in Cleveland stopping railroad traffic for a time. All day Sunday no trains on the Nickle Plate or Lake Shore reached the city from the east. The Lake Shore culvert and embankment at Doane Brook Wade Park was washed out. The Lake Shore frames ran over the Nickle Plate Sunday night and Monday forenoon from Cleveland to Ashtabula. Part of Wade Park boulevard was totally ruined.
