Power House Nearing Completion At Area Plant
Work on the power house at the area plant will finish in three or four days. Ellis and Chambers engines powering Westinghouse generators have a horse power of 201 and the generators 6,600 gallons. The blow engine for the No blow turbine will be tested in a day or two. Workers are being shifted from the power house to the Taj mills as they lay off daily. The ordinance for water works improvement and enlargement passed on final passage after suspension of the rules Tuesday night.

Lorain county’s large industrial inflow, driven by promises of work, leaves the county infirmary crowded. Supt. Johnson reports 109 patients, the highest ever, many admitted last week.
