Bass Caught Near Coonsville At Falls
A very pretty Black bass weighing three quarters of a pound was caught near Coonsville on Wednesday. It is likely the first of its kind caught near the falls. The rocky conditions in both branches provide good spots for fishing. A few bait fish should be introduced to improve fishing grounds for Elyria nimrods in a few years.

Arrested Three Times in One Day
One prisoner at the old stockade on Parkview Court set a remarkable record by being arrested three times in one day. After a midnight arrest for intoxication he was fined five dollars and costs and released when a bondsman refused to bail him. He was rearrested within half an hour as he began drinking again. He later escaped from an apparently unsecured tramp room but was recaptured by Officer Whitney.

Tragic Deaths After Lorain Wagon Accident
Bertha Weschler of West River Street dies from injuries after a wagon accident in Lorain. The child was jolted from a flour wagon and run over, despite medical aid.
