Settlement Reached In Shooting Damages Case

On Saturday afternoon a $5,000 damages claim against the Stresta of Oairo and the Morris and Berger show over the shooting of August Banks was settled. Mrs Banks received $150, O W Heisler contributed $1,000, and the show paid the rest to avoid prolonged court action. Heisler joined as a party owner of the shooting gallery. The reporter notes a letter from John Oliver Shaakespeare, a former Hotel Topic employee, now an elevator boy in Chicago, who plans a return to practice by September 10 and to run for city solicitor next election.

A car load of rails arrived Tuesday morning for installation at Broad and Court streets to replace the unsatisfactory junction. The yard has derailed trains and blocked traffic for hours. construction will start Sunday morning. Lorain Plans 200000 Bond Issue for River Dredging

Wreck at Kamms Corners injures several on line car

A high speed crash near Kamms Corners on the C and O road involved a west bound car and a line car on a siding.
