Fabian Hibbler was jailed Friday for disorderly conduct linked to a longstanding feud between Elyria Hungarians. The dispute centered on Mrs Mary Mazkovijak and her perceived social elevation, climaxing in a Saturday assault by John Maszkovijak. Hibbler accompanied the assailant to the justice office before the charge, with Mayor Folger setting a two o’clock hearing Saturday.
The sheriff Sailgury is named the owner of a Buick Oldsmobile after a Saturday night auction. The second number drawn is 084, and the winning bid was offered by Joe Jones.

A private letter from San Dusky recalls Jacob Newman Free known as M. O. was seriously ill and unlikely to recover. Born May 22 1828 in Champerburg Pennsylvania he moved to Wysox County as a youth and became a preacher. The family home near McCutchenville Ohio holds his untouched Bible and spectacles in the room where he died.
The Sinclair Scott touring car en route from New York to St Louis collided with a fast train near Perrysburg Ohio, overturning and causing serious head injuries to Gustave Behring of Baltimore. Other passengers from Cleveland and Cadiz suffered minor injuries. The car, owned by R P Scott of Baltimore, will be shipped home.
