Two Garages Burglarized in Clayton County
Two business places in Clayton county were burglarized last week. Ernie Walters at Farmersburg reported a theft of about 100 in accessories after his garage was entered Thursday evening. In Monona a rear door entry at Latham & Smith garage yielded a new Dodger sedan a Burroughs posting machine and car numbers, believed to be swapped onto the new car. Officials have no clues in either case and note at least six prior similar robberies in Peastville this year, suggesting a single gang may be responsible.
